After careful consideration, East Cambridge Savings Bank will be closing its MassAve Banking Center located at 2067 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, Mass., on February 8, 2021.
Customers who frequently use the MassAve Banking Center should rest assured that all services and conveniences including direct deposit, automatic payments, debit card transactions, and online and mobile banking will continue without interruption. The closure of the MassAve Banking Center will have no impact on customers’ account information or banking relationships with East Cambridge Savings Bank. Also, the employees who work at this banking center will continue to work for the Bank at one of our other locations.
Below is the official public notice informing customers and the public that the Bank has submitted an application to close this location to the Massachusetts Division of Banks:
East Cambridge Savings Bank, Cambridge, Massachusetts has petitioned the Massachusetts Division of Banks for permission to close a branch office at 2067 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02140. Any objections or comments relative to this proposal must be communicated in writing to the Commissioner of Banks, Mary Gallagher, 1000 Washington Street, 10th Floor, Boston, Mass. 02118-6400 no later than two weeks from November 5, 2020.
