Headshot of Eva Soares Eva Soares, the Bank’s Senior Vice President, Retail/Security, is retiring on June 18 after nearly 41 years of dedicated and exemplary service to East Cambridge Savings Bank. Ms. Soares began her career with the Bank in 1980 as a teller and rose through the ranks to hold several managerial positions. Throughout her career, Eva has become a familiar face to many customers and has played an integral role in overseeing the Bank’s branch network. 

“Eva has led our retail banking operations with great success. Her leadership across our retail banking business has been instrumental to the growth and success of our bank,” noted President and Chief Executive Officer Gilda Nogueira. “After nearly 41 years of dedicated service to East Cambridge Savings Bank, the banking industry, and to the many communities we serve, we are very happy for Eva and wish her a healthy and joyful retirement. It has been my sincere pleasure to work alongside Eva all of these years, and she will be missed."

In addition to her role at the Bank, Eva is an active member of the Cambridge Rotary Club and leads the Bank’s team of volunteers for Somerville based Community Cooks.

An avid traveler, Eva looks forward to more adventures and destinations with her husband, Tony.
