Fraudsters have recently called business customers using “spoofed” phone numbers that appear to be from East Cambridge Savings Bank. In some cases, they falsely claim to be verifying ACH transactions, then try to access your business online banking to initiate unauthorized ACH transfers.

Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive East Cambridge Savings Bank employees took some time out of their day to help The Salvation Army Cambridge Corps fill a red kettle as part of the annual holiday kettle drive. A worldwide organization, the Salvation Army has an active corps in Cambridge. The Salvation Army location in Central Square provides critical support to local families and individuals in need. Programs range from substance abuse treatment to temporary housing to aiding during the holidays.
