Woburn, Mass. – East Cambridge Savings Bank, a $1.6 billion in assets mutual bank headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., held a week-long celebration to mark the Bank’s 1 year anniversary in the Woburn community. From July 31 to Aug. 5, customers and nearby residents were welcomed to the Woburn Banking Center located at 237 Lexington Street for giveaways, raffles, and refreshments. In keeping with the Bank’s steadfast belief that local is powerful, all raffle prizes were gift cards to local businesses including Wilson Farm (Lexington), McCue’s Garden Center (Woburn), Sogno Restaurant (Woburn), True North Coffee (Burlington), and Beijing Chinese Restaurant (Lexington), as well as a grand prize drawn on Saturday, Aug. 5 for a Weber Grill valued at approximately $450 and purchased from Shattuck Ace Hardware in Arlington. Also, throughout the week, refreshments were provided by Chef Jason, a local caterer. The Woburn Banking Center is the bank’s eleventh full-service banking center and was the result of the acquisition of Patriot Community Bank that took place one year ago.
“The Woburn community has welcomed us with open arms, and we were so pleased to celebrate this one-year anniversary with them,” said Carrie O’Halloran, the Bank’s senior vice president, retail banking and security officer. “We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to serve many new customers in Woburn, and the banking center team has done great work to strengthen relationships with local businesses and we were thrilled to highlight some of those businesses at our anniversary week celebration.”
