Cambridge, Mass. – East Cambridge Savings Bank, a $1.6 billion in assets mutual bank headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., today announced that Amal Taouri recently joined the bank as business development manager at the Inman Square Banking Center. In this role, Taouri will serve as the banking center manager and will oversee business development, banking center operations, and will provide training, coaching, and development opportunities for banking center staff. Business Development Managers are also active in the communities they serve through involvement in civic organizations and volunteering. Ms. Taouri joined the Bank on Sept. 5, 2023.

“I’m very excited to join East Cambridge Savings Bank and it’s great to get to know the Inman Square staff, customers, and community members. There is a lot going on in this area of the city, and there are many opportunities for making connections and developing relationships,” said Taouri. “As I settled into this role, I have had the chance to meet many of our Inman Square customers and attend a few networking and community events. The Bank is well known in the neighborhood and has built a strong reputation, I look forward to working with the team to build on that.”

Taouri has over a decade of banking experience and has worked at several national and regional banks before joining East Cambridge Savings Bank. She was raised in Casablanca, Morocco, and currently resides in Somerville, Mass. with her two daughters.
