It is widely reported that the average American does not have a sound financial plan, or are at least under planned.  Many are ill-prepared to send their kids to college, are under-informed on how to build equity in their 20s and 30s, are unsure about investment strategies in their 40s and 50s, while others are approaching retirement wondering “what now?” as they try to plan on the fly.
