A sincere thank you to our employees who donated school supplies to benefit students and families served by the
East End House.
Throughout the month of September, employees could wear jeans to work on a Friday for a donation of school supplies. We collected hundreds of items that will go directly to students in Cambridge and Somerville. While school looks different this year, and some students are in the classroom, at home, or a combination of both, the need for quality supplies is greater than ever. East End House, located just a few blocks from our Main Office in East Cambridge, is a nonprofit organization that provides many programs to residents in need including after school programs, a food pantry, and childcare.
Earlier this year, the Bank made a financial contribution to support their childcare programs for the children of essential workers who had to continue to report to work during the early days COVID-19 pandemic. To learn more about East End House, visit
