Fraudsters have recently called business customers using “spoofed” phone numbers that appear to be from East Cambridge Savings Bank. In some cases, they falsely claim to be verifying ACH transactions, then try to access your business online banking to initiate unauthorized ACH transfers.

Tutoring Plus Logo East Cambridge Savings Bank recently donated to Tutoring Plus, a Cambridge based nonprofit organization that provides free individualized tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment programs to students in grades 4-12. The donation sponsors Tutoring Plus’s annual fundraising event, Tropical State of Mind, which will take place virtually on March 3.

The Bank has supported Tutoring Plus for many years and applauds the organization’s effort to advance educational equity and enrich the academic and personal lives of students through high-quality, individualized tutoring.
