East Cambridge Savings Bank was honored to sponsor the recent
Taste of Chelsea, the major annual fundraiser for Chelsea based nonprofit organization
HarborCOV. Founded in 1998, HarborCOV provides free safety and support services, along with housing and economic opportunities that promote long-term stability for people affected by violence and abuse. Held on September 19 on Chelsea’s waterfront, the Taste of Chelsea showcases an array of local restaurants and food vendors that reflect the diversity and vibrancy of the community. The Bank was pleased to support the event as an “Executive Chef” sponsor. Additionally, several Bank employees volunteered that evening to help with set-up, event logistics, and clean-up. Joe Vinard, Former Division President of Chelsea Bank – a division of East Cambridge Savings Bank – is still an active supporter of HarborCOV and helped organize the event as well.
