Kesia Ascencio Cambridge, Mass. – East Cambridge Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Kesia Ascencio has been promoted to assistant service manager at the Bank’s Chelsea location. In this role Ascencio will serve as the banking center manager and will oversee business development and banking center operations. Banking center managers are also active in the communities they serve through involvement in civic organizations and volunteering.

“I grew up in Chelsea and love my community,” Ascencio said. “It’s great to see the positive changes happening here and I’m looking forward to continue serving both longtime and new customers in this role.” 

Eva Soares, senior vice president and retail banking officer, reflected on Ascencio’s growth with the Bank and longstanding connection to the City of Chelsea. “Kesia has been serving the banking needs of Chelsea residents for over a decade and is a valuable member of the East Cambridge team,” said Soares. “She has strong connections to the Chelsea community and will continue to be a familiar face to our customers in the role of assistant service manager.”

First joining the Bank in 2007 as a customer service representative, Ascencio was later promoted to executive assistant. She holds an associate’s degree in business administration from Bunker Hill Community College, is a notary public, and holds NMLS #1482694. Ascencio lives in Chelsea with her family.
