ARLINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS, October 30, 2006 —- Town Officials will join East Cambridge Savings Bank representatives for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to open its newest banking facility at 105 Broadway in Arlington on Saturday, November 11th. The Bank already has a solid customer base in Arlington and has banking offices located in Cambridge, Somerville, Belmont and Waltham, and a new office scheduled to open soon in Medford.  

The new, two-story Broadway Office features two drive-up tellers, 2 ATMs (1 drive-up), night deposit box, safe deposit boxes, 15 on-site parking spots, and a child friendly play area in the main lobby. The Broadway Office will be managed by Assistant Vice President Natercia Calisto, who has more than 13 years of banking experience with the Bank.

Opening day, Saturday November 11th, promises to be an exciting, fun-filled day. After the official ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m., refreshments will be served and “Mix 98.5’s” radio personality Gregg Daniels will be on site giving away great prizes from 10:00 –12:00. There will be entertainment for children and special introductory products will be offered.

East Cambridge Savings Bank’s caring approach to its community will be evidenced in several elements of its Grand Opening Celebration. The Bank’s promotional efforts will feature a holiday food drive of non-perishable food items for the Arlington Food Pantry and coupons for a Free Holiday Turkey will be given to customers opening certain types of accounts. Customers may choose to keep their Free Turkey coupon or donate it to the food drive. Additionally, parents are encouraged to bring their children in for a photo ID and safety education program, Project Kid Care, developed by Polaroid and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Lobby banking hours at the Broadway Office will be Monday - Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Drive-up teller hours will be Monday – Wednesday 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Thursday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
